2024-2025 Band Boosters Executive Committee


 

President: Beth Burcham

The President is the chief officer and spokesperson for the West Clermont Band Boosters and presides over all meetings of the executive committee and general membership.  The president is responsible for ensuring committee tasks are completed in a timely, effective manner, with collaboration for seamless integration to achieve goals outlined for the program. Additionally, the President is the Chair of the Marching Band Competition Committee.
 
Beth is the Attendance Officer at West Clermont Middle School. Beth has one student in the WC Band program. Her daughter Peyton is a senior who plays marimba in the marching band, is in Symphonic Percussion, and also participates in Winter Percussion. Her son Lucas is a 2023 graduate of WCHS and is a band alum.

Vice President: Sarah DeWeese

The Vice President learns the functions and processes of the Executive Committee as well as the duties of the President and acts for the President when he/she is unable to perform the duties of the office or assumes the office of the President if the office is vacated to serve the remainder of the elected term. The Vice President is an ex-officio member of all committees.

Sarah is the mother of three girls. Her daughter, Adah, is a senior who plays marimba in the marching band and participates in Winter Percussion. Sarah served as our Concessions Manager during the 2022-2023 school year and Director of Development during the 2023-2024 school year.

Director of Development: Tracy Kirby

The Director of Development is responsible for sponsorship and fundraising activities. Additionally, the Vice President of Development is the Chair of the Sponsorship Committee and Co-Chair of the Fundraising Committee.

Tracy is a Paraprofessional at West Clermont High School.  She and her husband Glenn have three daughters.  Kamryn- a soccer playing 5th grader at Merwin Elementary,  Kylie- a freshman soccer player at WCHS and Kelcey- a sophomore saxophonist at WCHS in her 2nd year playing tenor sax in the marching and pep bands and alto saxophone in the Symphonic 1 concert band.

Treasurer: Amy Kleimeyer

The Treasurer is responsible for receiving and holding all funds of the general booster account for its safekeeping while maintaining accurate itemized accounting records. The Treasurer prepares written monthly financial reports for the Executive Committee and files necessary reports to meet the legal requirements of the Internal Revenue Service. The Treasurer is also responsible for ensuring expenses are paid in a timely and efficient manner. Additionally, the Treasurer is the Chair of the Financial Hardship Committee and Chair of the Senior Scholarship Committee.

Amy is a stay at home Mom of four children and married to Bill Kleimeyer. Kylie is a sophomore at WCHS and is active in Marching Band, Winter Percussion, Concert Band and Choir. Haylie, Emily, and Thomas all attend Willowville Elementary. Amy is also active on the Willowville Executive PTO board acting as 1st Vice President and enjoys volunteering in the West Clermont School District.

Assistant Treasurer: Jenny Willison

The Assistant Treasurer audits the work of the Treasurer and reports his/her findings to the Executive Committee at the following general membership meeting. The Assistant Treasurer also oversees the Charms database and serves as the Chair of the Senior Scholarship Committee.

Jenny is a former band kid who enjoyed playing the clarinet. She is an accounting specialist for The Chefs’ Warehouse. She is married to Jim, who can be found working concessions & pit crew. They have been band parents since 2011. Her daughter, Kaitlyn, an Amelia/West Clermont band alum, also played the clarinet. Her son, Nate, is a senior percussionist and baseball player.

Secretary: Beckie Teetor

The Secretary is responsible for keeping the minutes of all executive and general membership meetings and publish the minutes on the band website each month. The Secretary oversees the database which contains relevant student, parent, administration, and vendor information for band purposes. The Secretary preserves ballots and records for one year from the date of each election. Additionally, the Secretary is the Chair of the Volunteer Committee and Co-Chair of the Band Camp & Feed the Band Committee.

Beckie is a Senior Unemployment Account Executive and Tax Analyst at a Third-Party Administrator who has two children that like to keep her on her on her toes. Her daughter, Parker Teetor, is a sixth-grader at WCMS. Parker is beginning her journey in band with the clarinet in hopes to transition to the Tenor Saxophone; you may see her volunteering throughout the MB seasons. Her son, Peyton Teetor, is a sophomore at WCHS and is currently playing the Baritone Saxophone in both marching band and symphonic one band. Before joining the Executive Committee, Beckie was a member of the Big Brother’s Big Sister’s YP Board for 4 years and she has also been matched with her little sister through the agency for almost 5 years. Her biggest passion revolves around helping others, especially children in need.

Public Relations Officer: Laurie Smith

The Public Relations Officer oversees all forms of media, that relate to any public information for the band program. This includes, but is not limited to, email, social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram, and website content. The Public Relations Officer also maintain relationships with Band Directors, WCHS administration and public media entities. Additionally, the Public Relations Officer is the Chair for the Nomination Committee and Chair of the New Member Development Committee.

Laurie is the published author of The Pocket Quilt Series. She and her husband Travis have two daughters. Brooke is a 2023 graduate of WCHS and is currently attending Miami University. Jillian is a senior percussionist who plays snare drum in the marching band, participates in pep band, and performs with Winter Percussion Ensemble and Symphonic I.

Concessions Manager: Britney Lung

The Concessions Manager works directly with vendors to supply good for the concession stand during football season as well as maintain cleanliness and equipment during the year. The Concessions Manager also works with the Secretary to create a schedule of concessions volunteers. Additionally, the Concessions Manager is the Chair of the Band Camp & Feed the Band Committee.

Britney is a single parent to Hailey, a senior who plays bass clarinet in Symphonic 1 and Marching Band. Hailey also plays clarinet in pep band, as well as throws discus and shot put for the track team, takes multiple advanced classes, and is a member of the National Honor Society. Britney works third shift at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital as a Radiologic Technologist.

Event Coordinator: Nanci Farrell

The Event Coordinator reserves facilities as needed for booster-organized activities. Additionally, the Event Coordinator is the Chair of the Special Events Committee, Chair of the Spirit Committee, Chair of the Alumni Committee and Co-Chair of the Marching Band Competition Committee.

Nanci is a third to sixth grade Intervention Specialist/General Education Teacher at St. Rita School for the Deaf. She has been married for 25 years and has two boys. Her youngest, Shaun, is a senior. He plays snare drum in the marching band and performs with Symphonic 1 while also participating on the wrestling team. During the marching band season, Nanci enjoys helping with the pit crew and has had an amazing experience building the friendships with other band parents.

Uniform Manager: Nikki Vandeberg

The Uniform Manager is responsible for maintenance, fittings, issuance, cleaning and returns of all uniforms, accessories, and uniform equipment. The Uniform Manager is also responsible for maintenance of the uniform storage facility. The Uniform Manager is responsible for ordering of all spirit wear. Additionally, the Uniform Manager is the Chair of the Uniform Committee.

Nikki Vandeberg’s daughter Bella Bickel is a sophomore percussionist. This is Bella’s second year in the marching band, and Nikki’s first time being involved with the EC. Looking forward to being in charge of the uniforms and keeping our kids looking sharp!

Logistics & Props Manager: John Gorley

The Logistics & Props Manager is the Chair of the Pit Crew & Props Committee and Trailer Crew Committee.

Upcoming Meetings

General membership meetings are held monthly in WCHS Community Room B at 7pm. Meetings are open to anyone with a 6-12 grade band student.
