Dear Community Members, 

 

It’s that time of year again! The marching band has started practicing for halftime shows and competitions while the incoming sixth graders have eagerly chosen their instruments. Through our music programs, students in grades 6-12 benefit from improvement in concentration, self-discipline, empathy, and self-esteem. Competitions teach students teamwork, perseverance and good sportsmanship. 

 

We need your support now more than ever.

 

Your generous donation will help the students participate in competitions and area parades. In spring of 2024, the West Clermont Marching Band performed in the Annual Cherry Blossom Parade in Washington, DC. Every year the West Clermont Band Program is represented in competitions for marching band, jazz band, winter guard/percussion and solo and ensemble contests with other bands from the region. In the 22-23 school year, the marching band won Grand Champions at the Mason Invitational and competed in their first Band of America Competition. In addition, our winter percussion group won 4th place at the 2024 WGI World Championships. Without the help of our local community, we would not be able to provide our students with these amazing opportunities.

West Clermont School District is fortunate to have dedicated staff and selfless volunteers as well as partners like you to support us. We invite you to join us for the 6th annual West Clermont Marching Band Invitational on November 2nd, where marching bands from around our region will gather to compete at our high school. We will also host the Mid-States AAA Marching Band Championship on November 9th.
