Support the West Clermont Marching Band Tag Day Fundraiser!

Tag Day is a community-wide event through which West Clermont Bands, a non-profit organization, generate support. On a Saturday in the summer, the marching band requests donations by distributing tags in neighborhoods throughout the district. Recipients scan the QR code printed on these door hangers to learn how they can monetarily support the band programs. Money raised through Tag Day will be used to meet the needs of our growing program. The community joins the band at Jamfest to celebrate the program’s continued success.

Tag Day 2024

Date: 

Saturday, July 24

Time:

Students will meet in the WCHS band room at 8 am.

They will tag doors from 9 am to 10:45 am.

At 11am, all groups report back to WCHS for lunch.

They will continue to tag doors from noon to 1:45pm.

Students will return to WCHS for dismissal at 2pm.

Donation Period:

August 24 to August 31

Jamfest:

Friday, August 17, from 7pm to 9pm

2024 Goal:

This is our third annual Tag Day. The West Clermont Marching Band began a multi-year campaign in 2022, and we value your continued support. Your donation will help us hire clinicians, cover competition and travel costs, and purchase much-needed items such as instruments and uniforms.

 

Volunteers:

Students will be divided into small groups by the Band Boosters Executive Committee and WCHS band staff and faculty.

Parent volunteers will shuttle a group of kids from WCHS to their assigned neighborhood(s) and follow them (from your car, maintaining visibility, or on foot) as they go door to door.

This year, groups of percussionists will perform outside local businesses. Chaperones with these groups will also need to collect donations while the students are playing.
