Students in the West Clermont Bands have opportunities to audition and participate in special groups throughout the region, including Honor Bands and the Ohio Music Educator’s Association Solo and Ensemble contest.
Land of Grant
Started in 1976, The Land of Grant Honor Band was created as a Bicentennial Festival to honor President Ulysses S. Grant who was born in our region. It has continued to this day through the hard work of local directors from our four counties and the continued musical excellence of the talented musicians who participate each year. The Festival is comprised of one middle school and one high school band. Band members are selected fromĀ students in Brown, Adams, Clermont, and Highland Counties each December for a festival in January.
